Our co-founder is an Iowa native who graduated with a AA in biology from Valencia College.  Richard proudly served as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy for six years. He worked in the field for two years alongside Mackie and co-founded Sound Images Florida in 1993. He now resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, and enjoys hockey, fishing, and spending time with family.

Our founder graduated with a BS in biology from Baylor University in 1988. He attended Louisiana State University graduate school and continued his education with a Master’s degree in ultrasound from the Florida Institute of Ultrasound. He worked in the field for two years and founded Sound Images in 1993. As a Louisiana native, Mackie enjoys fishing, skiing, and tennis as his hobbies.
